Banagher Slats brought the original ‘gang’ slat to the Irish farmer in 1979 and we’ve been making gang slats of the highest quality for generations of Irish farmers ever since. We use concrete grade C45/55 and high tensile reinforced steel for optimum durability. We also incorporate GGBS which is more environmentally friendly.
We manufacture standard, dairy, scraper, heavy duty, tractor and manhole slats along with special non-standard products. Banagher Precast Concrete, have been manufacturing precast and prestressed concrete for over 70 years so we use this expertise to ensure that Irish farmers get the best quality slats.
Based in the midlands we are ideally located to deliver and install slats to farms all around Ireland. Delivery & installation is included in our price so there are no hidden extra costs. We also have a team on the road who would be happy to call to you, just contact us and we’ll set up a time that suits you.
Cattle slats are often overlooked when it comes to farm safety but they must be checked annually. Slats have a design life of 20 years under current regulation but their lifespan can vary greatly depending on use, load and manufacturer.
