Original Banagher Gang Slats

Since 1979 our gang-slat started replacing single slats throughout Ireland.  Suitable for all cattle they have a brushed finish to avoid slipping and have a smooth finish on the sides to minimise blockage of the slots leading to efficient drainage and greater animal comfort.

We will provide the solution you need for your specific shed configuration, not only do we manufacture 6-gang slats we also make 2-gang and 3-gang slats.

Dairy Cow Slats

Our dairy cow slats have a level non-slip groove cast into them to help prevent slipping.  The smooth tapered drop-off on our slats reduces slurry on the slat surface which in turn helps reduce the risk of slurry heel and digital dermatitis which can result in increased cow comfort and milk yield. Scraper Slats

Scraper slats allow slurry to fall through the slat easier and faster and can be used in combination with our range of slats.

Tractor Loading Slats

Our tractor loading and heavy duty tractor slats have been designed to carry up to 12 tonne axle loading – see our product specification table for more information.  Our tractor loading slats are also available with dairy grip.

Lockable Galvanised Manhole Slats

Manhole slats offer farmers efficient and safe access to the slurry tank for agitation and slurry extraction.  Our lockable galvanised manholes with integral safety grill can be placed at the end or in the centre of slats depending on your shed design.
